I can remember when I was a kid (a very long time ago) it was really hard to get books, there were no bookshops in our small town and the local library was pretty limited. Now there is the internet and so many ways of reading stories, it is a miracle and can only be a good thing. I also think that authors will benefit from the ease of getting out there, the lack of remaindered stock and the fact that it is not quite so easy to get a second hand copy of an ebook lol. It will also be interesting to see how censorship stands or falls - cf Fifty Shades. That would never been as mainstream ten years ago!
